Our trip to the pumpkin patch wasn't exactly what we hoped for. I'd heard about this great pumpkin patch from a co-worker. The free fall festivities were about 40 minutes from our house, and we'd been planning to go for weeks now. We'd considered going Saturday afternoon, but we guessed the crowd would be overwhelming. So, instead, we decided to go Sunday morning before the church crowd showed up. I guess everyone else had the same idea. Not to mention, little man was not in the greatest mood. The next couple of pictures prove it.
We finally got him to calm down for a few minutes. Not smiling and happy, but at least he wasn't screaming and kicking.
We took a hay ride and had a snack. Things seemed to be getting better.
We played on the hay and eventually cracked a smile.
Too bad shortly after this picture we witnessed round two of Micah's Terrible-Two-Tantrums, and made a swift exit.
