Primrose

An update on the boys' school:

 

 

We're getting ready to wrap up another year at Primrose with a Pre-K graduation.  Micah is getting really excited.  He will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, but he will continue at Primrose.  Tom and I made the decision to let him continue at Primrose for one year of Kindergarten, and we will most likely let him repeat Kindergarten again in public school the following year.

 

In Texas the birth date cut-off is September 1st.  That's just six days after his birthday.  Tom and I decided that, while he is not behind in academics, we still would like to hold him back a year.  We think he will benefit in the long run with the extra year and hopefully a little extra maturity.  Tom really wants him to be able to play sports too. 

 

Silas is doing well in school too.  In April we received this note from his teacher.  'Atta boy, Silas!

 

Here's their spring class photos.  I love these because you never know what all those kids are going to do for the camera at the same time. 

 Most days Micah's girlfriends (yes, girlfriends) are Sydney (middle row, far left) and Diem (middle row, far right).
