Happy Easter

Before the sun was up, Micah was already up and experiencing his first Easter. We were off to church by 7am (yes, you read that right) and still didn't get seats in the sanctuary. Instead we were seated in the life center and watched mass on a projection screen. Micah was very talkative through the whole service and progressively got cranky. Could it have been the early hour? Probably.

After church we came home and dug into Micah's Easter basket. He liked his stuffed bunny and lamb, and Tom and I really enjoyed all of the chocolate! We had pancakes, chocolate and Dr. Pepper for breakfast! Yum! I'm so happy lent is over!

Around 10am we were headed north to Tom's cousin's house for brunch. The kids had an egg hunt, but Micah watched through the window. (It was rainy and cold out.) Next year he'll give them all a run for their money.

In the early afternoon, we decided to head home. Micah and Tom took a snooze on the couch and now Micah is up and is CRANKY...again! I think he's just mad because I won't give him any chocolate...
