Once a month they hold a Parents Night Out at the school. All of the kids show up in their PJs ready for an evening of pizza, movies and games while the parents get several hours to themselves.
Last Saturday night was the first time we'd gotten to take advantage of Parents Night Out since Silas was born.
First on our agenda was indoor rock climbing at Canyons Rock Climbing Gym.
It's been 6 years since either of us has been climbing. And after 7 routes we were pooped.
Next, we went over to Main Event for some food and arcade games. We wanted to bowl, but we got there too late in the evening to get a lane. Instead, we watched part of the Kentucky game at the bar and spent way too much time and money playing the vintage Pac Man game. We had fun! And I can't wait until the next Parents Night Out.
