Starfish Point

On the last night of our trip last year, I read about this really interesting place that was within walking distance of where we stayed.  It's called Starfish Point. It's a sand bar popular among boaters on the tip of the peninsula that starfish are often found hanging out in the shallow water.  Since we didn't get a chance to check it out last year, we made sure we found the time this year.

  We found 5 or 6 starfish and Micah found a jellyfish too.  It got him on the back of his leg.  He was a little afraid of the water for a while after that, but he was happy to play in the sand.
